Spring Plant Sale at St. Benedict Monestary
May 4 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Spring is almost here and that can only mean that our Spring Plant Sale is around the corner as well.  The location is at our Teaching Garden at the St Benedict Monastery at 9535 Linton Hall Rd Bristow VA. The time is from 9 am- Noon.  As you drive onto the Monastery grounds, you will see signs as you near the Linton Hall School on the left.  This left is also for overflow parking for our Saturday in the Garden Program and the Plant Sale.  Not to worry if you park here, as a Master Gardener will help you get to your car after your purchase.
The other parking lot is reached by driving up to the circle.  Proceed to the circle where there is a construction trailer on the left and the New Monastery Building is on the right.  Turn Left onto the circle, and drive to the next turn (at about 11 o’clock on the circle) and turn left, and then quickly left again.  This road will take you to your location, going past a pool house on the right.  Then a parking lot is on your left, with a fence around it.
We accept cash and checks only.  There will be a fee for a check that bounces, per VCE regulations.
I hope you will come and view what we have.  We usually have at more than half  native plants which do so well in our area and support our Native Wildlife.  This includes pollinators and birds.  We will continue to sell our plants through the summer at all Saturday in the Garden programs and at our Tuesday morning and Thursday evening work times at the Garden.    Thank you for supporting our Teaching Garden.

Spring Native Plant Sale at Morven Park (not a Master Gardener plant sale)
April 13 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Native plants add beauty and interest to your garden year round and provide important habitat for wildlife. Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s Native Plant Sale is the place to buy spring-blooming flowers, vines, trees, shrubs and ferns from four local native plant nurseries: Hill House Farm & NurseryNature By DesignSeven Bends Nursery and Watermark Woods.
The sale takes place at Morven Park’s visitor parking lot (access via main entrance on Old Waterford Road) in Leesburg, VA. Each of the nursery owners are on hand to provide expert advice, along with knowledgeable volunteers from Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have boxes for carrying your plants, please bring them. If you have extra boxes, bring them for others to use.
Community groups including the Loudoun County Master Gardeners and Virginia Master Naturalists participate in the event, sharing information on their programs and how to support local wildlife with native plants. The sale also provides an opportunity to learn more about Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s programs. LWC’s “Wild Shop” offers books and other merchandise for sale.
